Terms and Conditions

Welcome to National Mile. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of National Mile's UK courier services.

1. Services Provided

National Mile provides same-day and express courier delivery services across the United Kingdom. All deliveries are subject to vehicle availability, route conditions, and these terms. We aim to complete collections within 60 minutes of booking confirmation, where feasible.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

All bookings must be confirmed online or via telephone. Cancellations made after a driver has been dispatched may incur a vehicle-dependent cancellation fee. We reserve the right to decline any booking that poses a safety or legal risk.

3. Customer Responsibilities

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that:

  • All packages are securely and appropriately packaged for transport.
  • Accurate collection and delivery postcodes, addresses, and contact numbers are provided.
  • The contents of the package are legal and comply with UK transit regulations (no hazardous materials, illegal goods, or unauthorized dangerous cargo).

4. Delivery and Transit

Our drivers will make reasonable attempts to deliver shipments to the designated recipient. If delivery is unsuccessful due to incorrect address information or recipient unavailability, additional waiting or redelivery charges may apply.

5. Payments and Invoicing

Payments must be cleared via secure bank payment links before transit commences unless a corporate account has been pre-authorized. Invoices for account holders are subject to our agreed payment terms.

6. Liability and Claims

National Mile limits its transit liability for lost or damaged consignments to standard courier cover limits unless additional high-value transit cover was requested and paid for prior to transit. Any damage or loss claims must be reported in writing within 7 days of the delivery date.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
